So, I decided to try out minecraft SMP block / item cheating but I didn't manage to create blocks out of nowhere. I managed to find out the value of the block in your hand and a single pointer that points to that value, but still didnt manage to change the block type you are holding in your hand (the value changes back immediately) and I'm not able to find another pointer that points to that. Cheat Engine is an open source tool designed to help you with modifying single player games running under window so you can make them harder or easier depending on your preference(e.g: Find that 100hp is too easy, try playing a game with a max of 1 HP), but also contains other usefull tools to help debugging games and even normal applications. Download Cheat Engine 7.2. All you need is Cheat Engine (link above) and the game you want to hack on your computer. Cheat Engine is a free piece of software and the hacking process used is very simple, so don’t get discouraged. This tutorial is for newbies, so we will make the process slow and use really simple cheating techniques.
